How to Matify Oily Skin Using Photoshop?

Step 1: Open any photo or image to be edited by selecting [CTRL+O] or FILE->OPEN

Step 2: Choose Layer > New > Layer to add a new layer to the image. Click OK to apply the changes.

Step 3: Click on the Eyedropper Tool in the toolbar to sample colors in the image.

• Use eyedropper to sample the skin color right next to large area of shine in subject forehead or cheekbone.

Step 4: Click on the Brush Tool in the toolbar to create brush strokes.

Select very soft brush with settings::

• Select The "Hardness", "Blend Mode" and "Opacity" Options

Step 5: Adjust Brush Size accordingly to cover the area you are working on and simply brush over the shine.

Step 6: As you Brush on each oily shine with the Soft Brush, and just like that, it's gone, replaced with good matte texture from the selected sample area.

Step 7: Choose Layer > Merge Visible to merge all visible layers into one.

Step 8: Hit OK and Save.
